Education

Informing the public of these horrid issues is the first goal in order to outlaw solitary confinement and not just protect our prisoners but our communities.

Petition

After informing and hopefully swaying enought of the public we will hopefully be able to get a petition of roughly 250,000 people to say that they are against the cruel and unusual punishment in which is solitary confinement.

Bill

Once enough people stand behind these ideals, Congress will be able to see that we care more about our safety and the safety of prisoners rather then trying to give them the harshest punishments instead of reforming.

Law

Finally we hope to accomplish that the Congress and President will see our ideals and act on them, as well as follow suite with the rest of the modern countries and the UN. UN has a maxium of 15 days allowed of solitary confinement, 95% of US solitary confinement stay are longer than 30 days.
